The Lucknow Atom R team
played two games this past week,
both on the road. It seems like a
long time since the team had the
home ice advantage.
On January 30 the team travelled
to Mildmay. Having rested up °from
the tournament they were ready for
action.
The team skated well and spent
considerable time in the Mildmay
zone. After one period and
numerous opportunities Lucknow
had been unable to score.
In the second, the team utilized a
number of excellent passing plays
to penetrate Mildmay's defence, but
were still unable to score. . •
Dennis Lubbers chalked one up as
he took the puck from Lucknow's
end, skated around numerous
Mildmay players and got it past the
net minder to make it I - 0. As the
game continued, Lucknow had a lot
of chances but the puck repelled the
Mildmay net.
