Thomas Alexander McDonald
passed away suddenly in Kincardine
Hospital, on January 17, 1991, in
his 83rd year.
He was born in Kinloss township
on February 7, 1908 and was the
son of the late Donald McDonald
and Mary Jane Britton.
He married the former Nina Guest
in November 1935 and they farmed
on the family WO MA 1965,
when the moved to their present
home in Kinlough.
• Mr. McDonald is survived by his
wife Nina, and four daughters and
three sons: Mildred and her hus-
band, Ronald Young, of Wiarton;
Isabel and her husband, Robert
Thompson. Tea -waren Esther and
her husband, Clare Bushell, of
ICingarf; Ehna Mae and her hus-
band, Gleam Kaufman, Saskatoon;
Gordon and his wife, Shirley, Oran-
geville; Malcolm and his wife,
Annette, Kincardine; and Kenneth
and his wife, Anne, Kinlough.

He is also survived by 23
grandchildren and 31 great
grandchildren.
Mr. McDonald was predeceased
by his parents, two sisters, Mrs.
Mary Stewart and Mrs. Dunedin
Bushell and one grandson, Eldon
'Thompson.
Funeral service was conducted by
Pastor Don Vair at the MacKenzie
and McCreath Funeral Home; on
Monday January 21.
Pallbearers were six grandsons
James and Robert Thompson, Paul
and Brain Bushell and David and
CarlMcDonald.
Flower bearers were two
grandsons, Peter an Jeffrey
McDonald.
Spring interment will be in Kin-
cardine Cemetery.

Matthew John Sproul of Maitland
Manor died at his residence on
Friday, 'annoy 25, 1991. He was
90.
He was a member of Knox Pres-
byterian Church;
Mr." Simi was born in West
Wawanosh Twp.. on August 13,
1900. His parents were David
Sproul and Edith Godfrey.
He is survived by one daughter,
Viola Steels of Sarnia and one
brother, Wilford Sproul of Oshawa.
He was predeceased by his first
wife, Annie Barker his second
wife, Patricia Fitzpatrick; daughters,
Florence Ashton, Gladys Jondreau,
Evelyn Chambers; and. sons,
Harold) Stanley, Bill, and Cecil.
A Memorial service was held at the,
McCallum and Palla Funeral Home .
on Monday, January 28,1991. Rev.
David Nicholson of Knox Pres-
byterian Church officiated.

Drop-in Centre
There were nine tables of, Shoot
played at the local drop-in centre crit
January 18. High lady was

Laverne Cooper. Bob Parrish was

Three -tables of bridge were also

On January 25, members of the
Drop In Centre held their monthly
Pot luck dinner and enjoyed cards
later.
