She was the loving mother of Gary and. Janet. of Ashfield Township, David and Virginia of Dungannon, and Steve of Ashfield Township, "Gram" will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Colleen, and. Maliory Caesar. Mr. Kimmel_ was the son of the late Arthur and Wilda Kimmel of Kitchener. He was born on June 20, 1916 in Cobourg, Ontario. Mr. Kimmel is survived by his children, Wilda McArthur, Arthur Kimmel, Bill Kimmel, Margaret Nixey, Ken Kimmel and . Mary Swailes. He also leaves to ` mourn his passing 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife the former Mary Gallowiy and one daughter, Cathy. Burial was in Easton Ceinetery, Adams County,Wisconsin. �►1,4VI1J111. ::eet S Bill Walker �a ar Staff Sergeant Bill Walker, of the Kincardine OPP, is in his 30th year as a .police officer. He began his career in Napanee, following which he spent five years in Sharbot Lake and 10 years in Long Sault, where he was promoted to Corporal. His posting to Kincardine in 1983 brought about the promotion to Sergeant. Due to a restructuring of the ranks, he is now designated St.aff Sergeant. Staff Sergeant Walker was born and educated in Owen Sound. He joined the army in 1955 and became a member of the Ontario Provincial Police in 1961. He is married with_ three children, and five grandchildren, all living in close proximity. In his spare time he enjoys wood- working, fishing, golf and gar- dening, ardening, and freely admits to having a "green thumb". As Staff Sergeant, he is the detachment commander responsible for the policing of the area municipalities covered by the Kin- cardine OW. He said his duties are primarily administrative and basically could be compared to those of a chief of police on a municipal force. OP BEAT
