Lochalsh girl spends weekend with sister in Paris

married on Saturday. Gladys
Johnston ' chaired the even-
ing's . program. After her
opening remarks, Elsie Hou-
ston with Wilma Clark at the
piano, led in sing song.
Sunny Stewart conducted a
contest after which Ruth
Buchmeier gave a reading.
Then the program went on
with ' Imelda Murray • and
Mary Downey also .conduct-
ing contests. Shirley Downey
asked the bride to leave the
room and the ladies were
asked to tell what she was
wearing.

Thomas and a girl friend,
Reina Arnold of Bervie,
opened her gifts. Then . Nan-
cy thanked everyone .and
lunch was served.

Rail Festival' at Flesherton
over the weekend. Some
