Trinity coupie'vacation
at niscotasing cottage

John and Helen Kuik
spent a week at their cottage
at Biscotasing in Northern
Ontario. On their return they
visited with Helen's niece,
Donna and Richard Statiltie---
wicz at Timiskaming and
with Helen's sister, Evelyn
and Tapper Grey at North
Bay. John Kuik and his
daughter, Darlene also en-
joyed a 'fishing trip while
there.
Sunday School classes be-
gan at Trinity United Church
on Sunday,. September 12
with about 40 children at-
tending,
Mr. and Mrs, Hugh Men-
ary and Mr. and Mrs. Martin
Hendriks attended the bap-
tism of their granddaughter,
Sarah May Menary at St,
Joseph's Roman Catholic
Church, Kitigabridge on Sun-
day, September 12, Sarah is
the daughter of Ron and
Joanne Menary who enter-
tained their families for
dinner following the bap

Visitors with Bill and Suz-
anne Andrew, Shauna, War-
ren and Eric -for Friday ev-

Congratulations to the
Benmiller slo-pitch team on
winning the Labatt's trophy
as the 1982 champs of the
Lucknow-Dungannon
sl�-
playoffs and an A and B type
of play, a tournament was
held to determine the rvin-
tters. The Benmiller boys
went into the finals unbeaten
while Kingsbridge had one
loss. Kingsbridge defeated
Kinloss, Lucknow Outlaws
and Benmiller before having
to play Benmiller a second
time, all in one day. The final •
game saw Benntiller defeat
Kingsbridge in a close 9-8
score.
In the Agriculture Hall
following the games, Benmil-
ler captain, Mark Kernighan
accepted the trophy on be-
half of fiis jubilant team.

Austin, coach of the Kings-
bridge team to accept the
runner up trophy.
