While farming on the Sixth Concession West, George worked with the' late Jack • Rhyver as they moved from • place to place in Huron Township along the Conces- sion roads doing barn threshings back fifty years ago. John has his Ph.D. degree from • the University of Toronto. • John says that children who have been ad6pted, or have experienced death, separa- • tion or divorce, may need' help expressing their feel- ings. The Hincks Centre is concluding a two year study to find which children are most helped by play therapy. • It can help children as young as 2 arid as old as 16. They find that the younger the therapists get working with them the easier it is to break the barriers. To refresh our memories it was on Thursday May 6 when the irst train for the year 1982 made its run on the Pahners,ton • Kincardine branch back. Pulling it was Engine 4533'and it was back in June and July. Observing engine numbers goes back to a hobby in those depression years 1930 - 33 in London. On Friday afternoon at one thirty the Ripley Women's Institute will meet in the Ripley Huron Legion Hall.
