The twenty-first annual
Sherwood-Twarnley reunion
was held at the Belgrave
Women's Institute Hall on
Sunday, July 18, with an ex-
cellent attendance
After grace was sung,
everyone enjoyed a bountiful
noon lunch. Myrtle
Johnstone, , president,
welcomed everyone and
thanked the committees for
their help.
A minute's silence was
observed in memory of those
who had passed away during
the past year.
The program, which wag
run by Gordon Johnstone
and Dan •McInnes, began
with a singsong led by Mrs.
William 'McInnes, accom-
panied by Mrs. Allan
Webster on the piano. Kevin
' and Janice Webster and
• Christina Kerr sang a
,number. This was followed
• by an Irish reading by Myr-
tle Johnstone. Janice and
Kevin Webster then sang a
duet followed by a .sOlo by
Kevin. Mrs. Dan McInnes
had a family name contest.
• The program closed with a
humorous reading by Mrs.
Gordon Johnstone.

dies
suddenly
• Theresa Louise,
Jansen
Miss Theresa. Louise
Jansen of Cochrane passed
away suddenly in Brower
Township as the result of an
accident on July 16, 1982 in
her 19th year.
Born in Wingham 'and
District Hospital on April 20,
1964, she was the daughter of.
Hugh Jansen of. Cochrane
and the former Marion Per-
cyof the sixth concession
Kinloss Township, now of
Cochrane. '
Employed at the Golden
Star Restaurant in
Cochrane, Theresa was a
young lady with a write and
a joke and everyope will
miss her.
She leaves to mourn
• besides her parents, four
brothers, Randy; Douglas,
Joey and Michael, all of
Cochrane, a sister-in-law,
Cindy and a nephew, Scotto
Her 'maternal grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Percy of,
Kinlough also survive. '
She was predeceased by
niece, Heidi in. JanuarY
1982.
Visitation was held. at
Brisson Funeral Chapel in.
Cochrane where the
multitude of floral ar-
rangements and donations,
as well as the steady line Of
callers attested to , the
esteem held for Theresa.
The funeral service was
conducted from the
Cochrane • Presbyterian
Church on Tuesday, July 20,
1982 at 2 p.m. with Rev, John
Blue officiating.
Interment was in Birchill
Cemetery; Brower
Township.
Pallbearers were Hobert
Searle, Thomas , Searle,
George Searle, Guy Dumont
and Garfield Erickson of the
Cochrane district and
William Percy of Kinlough.
