Galerlch and Kim Drost of R. 3, Clinton in marriage, Rev. Bert Slofstra of Lucknow performed the double ring ceremony at 6:30 p.m.' - The bride is the daughter of. Henry and Plea Drost of R. 3, Clinton andthe groom's. parents. are Harry and Gerda Burgsma of R. 6, Goderich. Organist Henk" Oudshoorn accompanied the soloist Deb Siertsema, The bride chose a floor - length gown of white chiffon featuring a sweetheart • neckline .and bodice of alencon lace accented with pearls. The chapel train was trimmed with lace and. pearls, She' carried a cascade bouquet of phileonopsis orchids stephanotis with fern and spider plant framing and cascading from the bouquet. Kathie Hulzebros ' of ° .Brussels was maid 'of honour. She wore a lavender cocktail length gown with full flowing ruffle, down the front of the bodice from a neckline featuring small flower , appliques. She carried an arm bouquet of white pompom mums and purple stalls. . Marianne. Kaastra of Clinton and Debbie Rehorst of Teeswater were • bridesmaids. They chose gowns similar to the maid of honour's. ZViarlita Den Boer was flower girl. She wore a lavender gown with ruffles at the side front, and carried a basket of pompom mums . and purple stabs. The groomsman was Marty Askes of Lucknow. Byrne Burgsma of" Dungannon and,Raymond Drost of Clinton ushered the guests. ' A reception" was held Gofollowing the ceremony at erich Township Hall in Holmesville " where the mother of bride greeted. guests wearing a mauve chiffon dress with dainty ruffles at the V. -neckline. She was assisted " by the h groom's mother who wore a pale green dress; which eatured. a V -neckline front. and back. . Special guests at the wedding were the couple's grandparents from the Netherlands. The couple Will reside at R. 1, Dungannon. The bride 'was feted at several, showers in her honour prior to her marriage including a shower for friends hosted by Kathie and Effie Hulzebos; a _family shower held by Coby Slotegraaf, the bride's aunt;. a.. shower for neighbours hosted by Sandra Domsma °and a shower for friends from Hurenview -held by Ruby Bregrnan .farnily gathers at B:enthilier. by.
