Trinity dancer places second at Dundalk competition

night. Donna is the daughter
of Doug and. Mary' Lou.
The Trinity Youth Group
met last) week for a Fun Night
at Brookside School and after
they went to the home of
Kevin Alton for lunch.
Livingston and Pearl Men-
ary hada very successful
farm sale recently. Mr. and
Mrs.. Ron Menary .have pur-
chased their farm and Pearl
and. Livingston are contin-
uing to. live there.
Sympathy goes out to Mr.
and Mrs. Allan Ritchie and.
family on the death of
Violet's. aunt, Mrs. Annie
Nesbit who has lived with
them for the past five years.
Her funeral was on. Monday,
June 28.
The neighbours from Trin-
ity enjoyed , attending the
reception for Karen and Don
Degraw at the° complex ,on,
Saturday night. Karen is the
daughter of Dona and. Arn
Campbell formerly of . the
Trinity community.
Al and Mary, 'Irwin and
Karen; of Newmarket visited
over the weekend with. Don
and Sherry Alton, Vanessa,
Heather, Sandra and Kath-
ryn. Karen stayed for a
week's. visit.

birth of their new son, Jamie.

Grandmother's meetingat
the home of Mrs. Ken Alton,
with an attendance of 35.
The president, Mrs. Ken
Alton, welcomed everyone
and opened the meeting with
a poem, I Shall Pass Through
This Life But Once. Mrs.
Doug Raynard opened the.
devotions, with the topic
being, Families. Mrs.: Frank
Alton read the scripture.
Mrs. Frank Alton led in
prayer, and the meditation
was given by :Mrs. Raynard,
assisted ;by Mrs. Alton, The
devotions closed With prayer.
Mrs. Peggy Rivers and
Mrs. Anne Miller, ,: from
Huron County Family Serv-
ices showed a film on Child
Abuse and then discussed
the different aspects of their
work in the Family Services,
The president thanked the
speakers and presented them
with a gift.
Mrs. Arthur Scott sang a
lovely solo, When I've Gone
the Last Mile of the Way.
The roll call was answ9red by

Mother Made".
One of the members who,
has moved to Goderich, Mrs.
Jean Henry, was presented
with a gift and best wishes in
here new home. .. -
Following the business,
the .president closed with
prayer. A social hour follow-
ed with the committee in
charge serving a delicious
lunch.
