This statement ,reflects the assets and liabilities of the revenue fund,
.the capital:• fund, reserve funds and the locale board as described in
note 3.(a)..
(d) Fixied Assets;
The historical cost and accumulated depreciation of fixed assets is not
reported for municipal purposes. instead, the "Capital outlay to be
recovered in future years" which in' the aggregate of the prineipal, portion
of unmatured long term, liabilities, capital funds transferred to other .
organizations, and the cost of capital projects not yet permanently
financed, is reported on the Balance Sheet.'
(e) Municipal Enterprises:
There are no municipal enterprise activities carried on by the munici-
pality.
(f)' Charges for Net Long Term Liabilities•:
.Debt retirement costs including principal and interest are charged
against current revenues in the ,periods in which they are paid... Interest
chargee are not accrued for the periods frau the date of thea latest interest
payment to the end of the .financial year.
(g) Trust Funds:
Trust funds administered by the municipalityamounting to $318• are only
reflected in the Trust Funds, Statement of Continuity and Balance Sheet.

a burden on general municipal revenues, as it is to be recovered in
future years from other sources ;

7. Liability for Vested Sick Leave. Benefits:
Under<.the sick leave
employees may become

The liability for these accumulated days, to the extent that they have vested
and could be taken in cash by an employee on terminating, amounted to $8,290
at the end. of the year. An amount of $5,000 has been provided for this past
service liability and is reported on the Balance Sheet.

The Royal Bank, Ripley branch sponsored the Junior Olympics at Kinloss Central Public
School for the pupils age 6 10 from Lucknow Central and Kinloss Central Public 'Schools on
June 10. Brett Shepley of the Ripley Branch presented the awards and crests to the whiners
in each event.' Overall champions in the 6 - 8 year category were girlsl Jill Campbell•, boys,
