Impromptu Parades '
Cesualtiee were many, but did no-
thing to slow the tide of exuberance
that flowed freely wherever gay berets
were to be seen. A group of half -a -
dozen or more constituted a parade,

Hundreds of these parades thronged

and drum, one by a trombone, one
by an accordion. All were merry,
carefree gatherings. Drum majors

Stock Farm, near Brantford, owned by
Thome. Amey. was destroyed by fire
on Saturday, when a blaze from a
threshing machine ignited the strue-
hire. The entire crop and the thresh-

were formerly destroyed by fire. Mr.
