Case- more was granted release on Saturday, May 15, 1982 when he entered into rest at the Wingham and District Hospital. He was in his 72nd year. Mr. Casemore was born in. Kinloss..Township on April 11, 1911; a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jerry. Case- more. He received his elem- entary . education in Kinloss and. at Holmes' School and farmed until 1967 when he moved to town. He did carpentry work until i11 health, forced his retirement in 1974. A member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, . he : resided at 47 Maple Street, Wingham. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, the former Katherine Maclnnes, whom. he married in •Goderich on October 2, 1946; and one sister, Mrs. Ed (Vera) Marsh, R, R: 4, Wingham. A. sister-in-law Mae Maclnnes of Wingham also survived but died on Monday of this week in Wingham and. Dist- rict Hospital. The late Chester Casemore rested at the Currie -Walker Funeral Home, Wingham, until Tuesday, when funeral service was conducted at two. o'clock by Rev. Paul L. Mills and Rev, Victor Grieco. Interment followed in Wing- ham Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Maclnnes, Jack Maclnnes; John . Maclnnes, Carman MacDonald, Jack. Lester and Howard Brand. Floral tribut- es were carried. by. John Mann, Lloyd Montgomery and John Sproal.
