Mr. and Mrs. Mervin And- erson of Milverton visited with Mrs. Olive Needham on Sunday. Nancy Maclntyre attended a conference in. London over the weekend.. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Collyer. were supper guests on Sun- day'evening with. Mrs. Nancy Maclntyre and family. A niece, Laurie Jensen of Drumheller,. Alberta, visited for a week with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Buchmeier and Carol. Norma Maclntyre is work, ing at Swift Current, Saskat- chewan for the next three months for. the 'Board of World Missions'. While there, Norma will be staying with Rev. and Mrs, Glen Noble and Leslie. Norma will work out of Regina for a month of this time. Adult education teacher speaks to Pine River UCW Pine River U.C.W. held their monthly meeting in the church with Bethel U.C.W. as their guests. Program convener, ,Mrs. Cliff Elliott, read the scrip- ture from Galatians, and a meditation on Friendship. Mrs. Elliott introduced the speaker, Sheila . Fink from Goderich who teaches basic adult education..: Students range in age frorli:30 54 years. She is willing to speak to any, group to help promote the program in a new area. A 'lady student and a voluntary tutor spoke briefly stating that with many hours of hard work and a strong determina- tion to succeed, nothing is impossible.
