'Warship in Lucknow
A large congregation,
which included a number of
visitors, worshipped at Luck-
now United Church on Chris-
tian Family Sunday, May 9.
Rev. McDougall's sermon
was developed around the
theme, The Christian Fam-
ily, outlining three respon-
siblities of Christian parent-
hood: the responsibility of
passing our faith on to our
children; of the importance
of discipline; and the 'neces-
sity of knowing, what our
personal priorities in life are,
so that wecan set a good
example for our children to
follow. ,
° The children's story had to
do with being part of God's
family the Church. Four
different species of apples
were used to demonstrate
that, through a process of

apples can grow on one tree,
just as, different' kinds of
people can draw their
strength and inspiration from
one God, and thereby all
belong to God's one family..

Again This way", was sung

A THOUGHT.:."I, expect to
pass through this world but
once. Any good, therefore,
that I can do, or any kindness
that I can show, let me do it
now. Let me not defer it nor
neglect it, for I shall not pass
this way again".
