The West Huron Junior Farmers are Improving one of the baseball diamond. at Brookside
Public School as their commuulty betterment project for this year. Members of the club have
worked the put two Saturdays to levelthe outfield and put down sod and lay stone dust on
the infield. They plan to built] a back stop to complete the project. Funds .raised at their form-

The club has chosen a king
and, queen for the County
Formal. They are Robin
Markham as King and. Bren-
da Henderson as Queen.
Reports from the different
committees were given. The
club will be going camping
for a weekend at Point Farms
in the .month of August.
The . Horticultural Society
has asked the club to build
flower boxes for the medical
centre. They. will be holding
a raffle on a card table and
chair set as first prize 'and a
fan as second prize. The
tickets are available from. any
Junior Farmer member. The
committee for a float for the
Lucknow Fall Fair was chos-
en.
The Community Better-
ment, Project this year is to
improve onek of the baseball
diamonds at Brookside
School. The club has levelled
the outfield and put down
sod and laid stone dust on
the infield.
On May 14 they built the
back stop and removed the..
snow fence, presently sur-
rounding the sod.

Jim Webster of Waterloo

with his parents, Wellington.
