Family celebrates father's 80th birthday

held at the home of Bill and .
Margaret Andrew on Thurs-
day, March 25 to celebrate
Bill's 80th birthday. Their
family who: attended includ-
ed John Andrew, Bill and
Suzanne -Andrew, Shauna;
Warren and Eric; Stephen.
and Anne Andrew, Carolyn
and Jeffrey; Rev. Don and
Louise Stroh and Robert,
Andrew and. Elizabeth of
Strafford, and Bob and Mary
Rowswell. of •London. '
Mr. and .Mrs. Carman
Nixon and Andrea of London
visited on Tuesday of last
week with his parents, Isaac
and Della Nixon and last
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
Nixon of Wingham visited
with his parents.
Ken and Ruth Alton spent
the weekend .in Detroit,
Michigan; with cousins of
Ruth.
Tim and Allie Reurink flew
to Holland to spend the past
three weeks where they
visited with their families.
and other, relatives there.
Tim especially enjoyed the
visit with his father who is
over 80 years old now. Their
daughter, Karen .and Ron
Ritchie of Glencoe looked
after the farmwhile they
were away.
A' large crowd of people
gathered on Saturday for the
farm sale of Brenda. and
Bernard Campbell and, fam-
ily.
Congratulations . to the
West Huron Junior Farmers
who held a successful card
party at Brookside School on
Monday, March, 22. There
were 17 tables of progressive
euchre and threetables of.

26 at the home of Ruth Alton.

plained the recipe she pre-
