theme for general meeting
The first general meeting
in 1982 \of the Lucknow
U.C.W. was` held in the
church parlour on February
16 at 8 p.m.\ with the Lead-
ership Committee in charge.
Mrs. Lois Walden opened
the meeting with the call to
worship.
After the singing of .a
hymn, Mrs. Walden read the
first part of the Commentary'
on selected passages from
the Exchange ' Magazine,
.which discussed our identity.
Mrs.' Bernice Johnstone read
the scripture which empha-
sized our duty to all persons
'Who need help.
The second party of the
commentary was read by
Miss Norma . Weatherhead
and this was followed by
prayer given. by Mrs. Rena
Menary,
The offering was received
and dedicated while Mrs.
Elsie Houston played the
piano. This part of the
meeting was concluded with
