Marilyn Reid were Sunday visitors with Howard and Marjorie Thompson in Ripley. Gladys Mason and Mary Helen MacDonald were sup- per guests with Donald and Ann McCosh. Kaye Collins visited in Petrolia and Sarni on the week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Oakes and Mr. and Mrs. John Evans. Purple Grove W.I. met at the home of Mrs. Norval Stanley. This was a "Con- sumer Affairs" meeting. Sandra Forster had an ex- cellent topic on "Food ad- ° ditives". Janet Rhody had some good contests, one on Food additives, which prov- ed we should read the labels on packaged goods.
