Mrs. Hackett discussed Milk Based Bread, Fat in Bread and Essential Tech - niques in the Straight Dough Method. The girlsfinished the steps to, make Buttermilk Bread and made rolls and a loaf. The girls also started. Finnish Health Bread. Each member. took a turn doing something. for each bread recipe. ` The meeting closed with the .members sampling the. Buttermilk Rolls Rolls enjoyed with chili which Mrs. Hackett had made. It was a delicious snack. Outlaws win playoff opener against Teeswater . The Outlaws played their first game of the playoffs on Wednesday night against the Teeswater Trojans. Luck- noww started the best two out of three series. on 'a ' good note, by winning the ' first game, Lloyd Morrison, had one• goal, assisted by Ken Mc- Whinney. Ralph Morrison also had one, assisted by Wayne McDonagh. Ralph Morrison assisted on the final goal scored by the Teeswater defense: The second game of the series was played Sunday. The Outlaws came out fast; which .resulted, in a break- -� away ' by ' Gerald Cook and Wayne McDonagh. Gerald scored to give the Outlaws an early .1 - 0 • lead. The Outlaws popped an- , other shot behind the goalie to put them ahead 2 - O. The Trojans managed to score one goal before the end of the first period. In the last minute of the game Teeswater pulled their goalie, in a final desperate attempt to make the series go into a third game, however the Outlaws continued to control the game.
