March of Dimes
raises X1500,:
To the Edition
To date 51518.93 has been donated for the 1982 Ontario
March of Dimes campaign in Ludmow, Dungannon and
rural areas. Only 32 replies have been received from the 750
rural appeals sent.
' A very special thank you to everyone in the village and
country who gave so generously to continue vital services
rad programs for disabled adults.
The. March of Dimes is particularly grateful to ' our
volunteers who brave the, cold January weather to canvass:

llosts Ashfield WMS
The February meeting of
the. Ashfield W.M.S. was
held at the home of Mrs. Neil
MacKenzie on February 19.
Dorothy Finlayson opened
the meeting with a call to
worship. The second session
of the, Study Book was `,`Our
Identity" and was in the
form of a Bible Study. Mrs.
Dorothy Finlayson and Mrs.
Warren Wylds were the lead-
ers and the group answered
questions and held a discus-
sion. Mrs. Russell Moncrief
conducted .the worship ser-
vice from the Study.
Roll call was answered
with a . verse on love' and a
favorite recipe.
Mrs. Dorothy Finlayson
conducted the business por-
tion of the meeting and a
report of the executive meet-
ing of Maitland Presbyterial
was given by Mrs. Ewan
MacLean. -
Members will attend the
World Day of Prayer service
to be held on March 6 at the
home of Mrs. Richard West.
Courtesies were given by
Mrs. Finlayson and the
meeting closed with a bene-
diction. Lunch and a social
hour followed,.

Joyce Black, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Black
of the 4t concession, left on
Saturday for Edmonton , by
plane. Joyce has been out
west for over a year working
in a day care centre. She has
been visiting with her family
for the past six weeks. '
Nancy and Michael Moskal
of London visited on Sunday
with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack McGuire and
Brian.
Mrs. Dorothy Engel of
Seaforth and Mrs. Katherine
Rheil of Goderich visited
recently with Mr. and •Mrs.
