Hedley family are moved into
the Stewart \Lane residence
(the former. Graham home)

day. Since the loss, of their
home they have been with
Joyce's mother, Mrs. Bertha
Haldenby and the boys, and
Mr. and Mrs. Barry Halden-
by and the girls.'
Our sincere wish is for
brighter days ahead . to all of

On Friday evening a mis-
cellaneous shower was held
for the Hedley family. Ladies
from ' here also attended.
Mr. Glen Haldenby who
underwent ear surgery on
Monday at St. Joseph's Hos-
pital, London returned home
on Friday afternoon. We
send' get well wishes to Glen
at this time.

of Cochrane in the crib death
of their four month old
daughter, Hiedi. The Jan=

three years old. Mr. and

Mrs. Alex Percy. are the
great grandparents. We ex-

listened to familiar hymns of
Tennessee Ernie Ford.
Mrs. Glen Haldenby pres-
ided and read two poems.
She also gave the courtesies.
The hostess served refresh-
ments and all enjoyed a time
of fellowship. • • .

The Board of the Lucknow
and District Horticultural So-
ciety planned their agenda
for 1982 at their January
meeting.
They are sponsoring a Val-
entine euchre party on Feb-
ruary 10,1982 at 8.00 p.m... at
the Lucknyw Legion. Hall.
The public 'is invited. Lunch
and prizes are provided and
the admission is only $1.00.
Committees were arrang-
ed for the Spring Tea on May
12, 1982 and for the Annual
Flower Show, with a revised
prize list, being held on
August 11, '1982.
Plans for new planters for
downtown Lucknow and for
the maintenance of existing •
installations in the village
were discussed and approved
by the Board. Identifying
signs for the planters have
been ordered.
New ' members with or
without green thumbs - who
are interested in the im-
provement of horticulture in
the area are ' invited to join
the local membership.
