Sepoys win consolation
TheLucknow Sepoys end-
ed their three game weekend.

On Saturday night they
were defeated 9 - 1. Mark
Frayne picked up Lucknow's
only point. Lack of ,man
power seemed to be the
Sepoy's biggest . down fall
over the entire weekend, as
three Juveniles helped them
' out ' on Saturday night to
make up an 11 plus two line
up., I
On Sunday morning they
travelled to Dundalk' to finish
the tournament which had
°started three weeks ago.
Winter weather had played
havock with these games.
The first and second games
had been played on January
16,
The :Sepoys lost their first
game to Bramalea which put
them in the consolation
round. After winning their
second game 5 - 4 against
Woodford, most of the team
spent the rest of the weekend
as storm stayed guests at the
Dundalk arena.
Finally on Sunday they
wrapped up the tournament
by bringing home the Conso=
dation Championship. They
defeated Holstein 10 - 3 and
Grant Gilchrist was named
player of the game:

Leaving Dundalk, the Se-
poys travelled on to Durham
for a regular scheduled
game. With only nine players
the Sepoys : ran out of leg
strength and lost 9 - 3..
Although the final° score
didn't show it, Lucknow put
up a good battle only to be
stopped by a hot Durhami
goalie.
Goals were scored by
Randy Alton; John Emberlin
and Doug Stevenson. The
bus willleave on Wednesday
night for St. Clements at 6.00
p.m. On Friday the Sepoys
host Lion's Head at 8.45 p.m.

Piayoff hockey begins

season play last week and
playoffs are set to begin this
week. .
All teams start the playoffs
by meeting Brussels in the
first round of their WOAA
championship finals. The
Juveniles however, meet
Teeswater in the first round.
The Juveniles will play the.
first game of the Teeswater
series this Sunday afternoon.
