The senior and junior fleas
combined efforts against
Wingham on Saturday night
to bring home a 2 1 win.
Wingham opened the scor-
ing on a goal by Scott Neil at
the 12.30 mark of the first
period. Wingham held their
leadinto the second period'
when Lu know's Dennis Park
took a tripping penalty. Luck-
now's power play tied up the
'action in the Wmgham end
throughout the penalty and
scoredto tie the game when
Adrian Rau picked up a de-
'•flection on a shot by Justin
Murray.. Darrell .Gibson scor-
ed at the 9:10 mark of the
third period to put the
Lucknow lads ahead.
Solid goal tending by
Russell Sutton helped Luck-
now hang onto their lead and
several shots by Chris 'Stev-
enson could have been goals
except for the saves: made by
the Wingham netminder.
Was .defeat Ripley
The Luclmow Junior. Fleas
lost to Blyth January 18 when
Robbie Crich scored the lone
,Lucknow goal.
Friday night . the team
defeated Ripley by a score of
3 - 1. Everyone. played a
great, game.
Goals were scored by.
Vincent Sticklend, Matthew
Drennan and Terry Stanley.
Sep�ys' winning streak ends
with two huniiliating defeats
The Lucknow Sepoys had
their winning streak stopped
on Wednesday night when
Teeswater played here.
The S poys could do noth-
ing right as Doug Stevenson
scored the only fist period
goal to Teeswater's five.
Lucknow came on in the
second to score two by Pat
Murrayand Doug Stevenson.
The third period looked much
the same with the final being
