.eras going to chop it down
w: en the tree said, "Stop/ I
don't want to be cut down.

Sleigh Sir
Christmas night when San-
ta was riding in his sleigh, he.
noticed one ofhis reindeer
was lost. Then another. And
all of his reindeer were gone.
He said to himself, "It is
the sleigh snatcher."
"There's the sleigh shat-,
cher's cave. I'll just go in to
this cave," said Santa- "And
I'll get the reindeer."
So he went in the cave and
got his reindeer. Andhitched
up the reindeer. And he was
on his way.

The night before . Christ.
mas was an exciting night for
Mary and Pete and April. It
was time for the kids to go to
bed. "Goodnight," said die
,kids and they fell asleep.
In the morning the child-
ren awoke. Pete got out of
bed and went downstairs.
Pete got a shock because the
toys were talking.
Pete ran upstarts and got
Mary and April.
"The toys can talk," Pete
moaned. They all went down-
stairs.
"Hello," said a toy. The
kids did not know ' what to
say. And for all the years to
come and' go they had the.
funniest time they ever had.

I wish -I could go and bring.
the presents to the sled. I'd
work and try the toys out.
That's what I'd do if I was an
elf.
