The Fust CieWsas
Joseph and Mary went to
Bethlehem on a donkey.
When they got there, there
were no rooms for been. So
they had to go to a barn.
Mary was goingto have a
baby. At midnight she had
her baby. They called it
Jesus,
The Wisemen and the
shepherds saw the star in the.
sky shining from the East. So
they brought presents for
baby Jesus.
That's why we have
Christmas on December 25 to
celebrate Jesus' birthday.

What Andstmas Means
To Me
 Christmas means not Inst
to receive gifts but to give to
people that need your love
and care.
Christmas is when you get
to8ether and have fun.
Christmas is when Jesus
Christ was born in Bethle-
hem.. So be thankful for what
you got on Christmas.

The First Onfaimas
Mary sighed_ Joseph could
not get a roomin the inn.
Well...' thought Mary, at
least the stable would give us
shelter.
So Joseph • and. Mary went.
into the \ stable and there
Mary had her. baby, Jesus
And all the animals in the
stable carte to see the baby.
• They weren't the only ones
that came to see trim though.
For wisemen who ' had
followed a brilliant star came
to the stable and saw Jesus,
and they knew it was Christ
so thy gave him gold, myrrh
and frankincence.
That same night the shep-
herds saw an angel and it
said to them... "Do not be
afraid for: I will tell you great
• nem... Jesus Christ the Lord
has been born." •
And the shepherds went to

rejoicing. At Christmas now,
people give presents and
receive them.; But it isn't just
gig presents but giving
them, just like • Jesus who
gave so much to us.. \

whirring noise..I got out of
bed and looked mit. Guess
what I saw? It was. a UFO
landing -in the backyard.
It landed and two strange
thingsgot out. I decided not
to wake up anybody, so I got
my slippers and snuck out of
the house.
When I got out and round-
ed
ounded the corner I heard these
words. `Remember the
governor . said to find ' . 'out
what Christmas is."
"I remember," said the ,
second creature. While they\
were talking they came clos-
er to myhiding' spot. Then
they spotted me.
:Who are you?" . they
asked.
."I live here. Who are
you?"
"We come from Venus.

"What's a stocking?", they
wondered:
"Well on Christmas Eve

goodies and toys under the
"Great blue salamand-
ers," one exclaimed. 'Then
they oohed and aahed over
toys.
That night I introduced
them to Mom, Dad and my
pesky sister.
After supper Mom got out
some stockings and hung
them for our visitors. Then
we went to bed.
The nest morning I got up
and woke our visitors. We
went downstairs and saw
that Santa had been there.
We had , dinner and played
with our toys.
When it came time for our
visitors to go, they said
"We'll be back again nextyear and thanks for every-
