meets

About 50 people attended
the local branch meeting 'of
the Canadian Diabetes As-
sociation held Thursday,.
November 19 in the Wing -
ham United Church.
The meeting was opened
by the vice president, Isabel
Burke, and Christmas selec-
tions
elections were played on the
piano by Carol Campbell
with those attending singing
along.
The group's financial re-
port was given, by the treas-
urer, Carol Campbell.
Marjorie Cook reported on
the annual meeting of the
Ontario Division ofCDA held
at Sault Ste. Marie this past
October 24. She and Isabel
Burke had attended as
branch representatives..
A short film entitled,
Heart Sweet Heart, was
shown by Paula Blagrove and
ended by all.
Those attending were div-
ided into fare groups to
discuss several quest re-
garding what the members
thought the branch should be
providing for them, topics of

and how' the members could

tions..
