Women's Institute held their
Citizenship and World Af-
faits meeting On Thant*.
November 19 at 1.30 p.m. at

Ritchie. After the usual
opening, the president, Mrs.,
Harold Howald welcomed aft
to the meeting and gave a
short reading.

The leaders for the next
4-11 club, "4-11 Bread Win-

Mani and Miss Linda Van-

A committee was set up to
look after the 1962 District

Mrs. Evan Keith asked
• whether or not Kairshea
would be willing to promote
the "Folklore of Grey Ox"
booklet which is now being
printed. The ladies decided
in favour and an advertise-
ment to that effect will be
placedh, *beLuc Sent-
inel. Three more packages of
Bruce County Tartan serviet-
tes are to be ordered from
the Tartan Committee.
Mrs. Cliff Roulston was
chairlady for the program.
She ktEits a sing song with
Mrs. Leenard Clarke accom-
panying on the organ. Stand-
by committee reports were
given. Mrs. Cliff Revision
gave two very good readings
and conducted a game and a
contest.
• Miss. Katrina Howald was',
the winner of the contest on
"Questions about Canada".
Mrs. Harvey Houston/gave a
very good motto, Dentocracy,
like love, can survive any
attack - save neglect and in-
difference. ,
The members of the 4-11
project just completed pres-
ented .their demonstiation,
Omelettes Made Easy. Julie
Clarke, wag the girl from
Mexico, Katrina from Spain
and Nancy Haldenby (taking
Linda Vanderldippe's plaice)
from ,France. Heather Mac -
Dougall helped the girls sing
their song at the end. Be-
sides Linda, Joanne de Boer
and Christine Gibson were
unable to be there. The girls
presented each of their lead-
ers, Mrs. Clarence Ritchie
and Mrs. Jack Mali with a
beautiful bouquet of fresh
carnations and fern.
Mrs. Ena Steer gave the
courtesies. A delicious lunch
was served by the hostess
and directors. Mrs. Donald
Maclutyre and Mrs., Ted Col-
• lyer.
