Isabel Gaunt and Mrs. Jean = Suitable hymns were sung thrpughout the service under the leadership of Mrs. Anne • Pritchard. Members from the three churches helped in the choir and Lindell Cross was crucifer. Several clergy and their wives from the South Saug- een Deanery were present and also the Rey. J. The Reverend Philip Ruch thanked everyone for coming on such a snowy night and invited all to the parish hall, for lunch.and a time of fellowship. Last Friday . evening we had our first taste of winter • as snow ,fell heavily in the early evening and made rods quite slippery. It lasted over Saturday, disappearing on Sunday. Another sign of,winter was a large flock of wild geese flying high overhead early. Saturday evening. \ • A T-shirt party was held Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Hope Springer of Whitechurch with about 10 ladies'present. Demonstrator, ,was Janet Little.
