Henry Van Dyke, has mov- ed ,to , London where he is doing welding at Sramotor Limited and Michael Hackett has started new welding work at Bell Industries Ltd. at Seaforth. Frank and Lorene Alton and ,Jamie visited for the weekend at Toronto with Lorene's brother, John and Muriel Wray and faultily. Mr. and Mrs. Wray were cele- brating their 25th wedding anniversary. Pinecrest---- Manor Nursing Home, Lucknow was honour- ed along with her 'husband George Newbold, who •as past presdient of the Ontario . Nursing Home Association (OHNA) now retired, was given .an Honorary Member- ship in the .OHNA, for the contribution she made dur- ing the two years. he was president in the early sixties. The recognition acknow- ledged the strong support of Mary and George Newbold in furthering the growth of the association. The acknowled: gement was made at the. association's 22nd annual meeting and convention held in London recently. Institute holds garage gale • By Kathy Todd The St. Helens Women's Institute held a garage sale at the hall on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Taylor and Rodney of Kincaidine. visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Todd and family. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Todd enjoyed the company of Mr. and Mrs, John Siecker of Owen Sound on Sunday. Mrs. Elaine Errington hosted a Tupperware party last Tuesday evening. Fol- lowing the display, everyone enjoyed a light lun4h. Last Week Mrs. Lorne Forster and Laura McNeil attended the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston at the United Church in Kincardine on Sat- urday. Helen Todd and Isobel Miller attended the aotp wedding anniversary cele- brations of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon MacIntyre of Rich- mond Hill, on the weekend. Winners at -The regular Shoot Party were Margaret Errington, high lady, with a score of 271 Robert Mit- chell, second high lady, 222. High man was Russell Phil- lips with 216. Ed Robinson, second high man with 201 and George Grigg took the low prize with 96. Next party will be Thursday. CHIP (the Canadian Home Insulation Program) offers taxable grantsof up to $500 to make your home better insulated and more airtight—i( your house Was built before. After November 1, 1981, if you intend . to apply fot CHIP and have a contractor install the materials, you must use a contractor who is listed with the CGSB program.
