Home again Just back home from Kin- cardine . and District Hospital this Monday morn- ing is our neighbour Jack Johnson. Jack has spent the past two and 'a half weeks in hospital following a heart at- tack. While he is glad to be back home with his Wife Evelyn, he is very thankful for all that wonderful,care, by the nurses, doctors, and staff members at the Kincardine hospital. Get degrees Two former students at the Ripley District High School were awarded degrees last Friday, Oct. 23, 1981 at the fall convocation at the University of Waterloo. They were Kerry Boyle, daughter of Francis and Irene Boyle of Purple Grove, Concession 10 east Huron township and Ronnie Ferguson, Son of Bill and Margaret . Ferguson formerly .of Amberley. and now Lucknow. Kerry received her Bachelor of . Arts (B.A.) degree. Ronnie received his Master of °Mathematics and Computer Science. He took just last year to do this. Usually it takes at least two years to get a Master's degree. Prior to last year Ronnie was employ l by Telesat in Ottawa for nine years. Now he is back: in Ot- tawa ttawa ' . with Bell Northern Research. Helen McCreath was back 'on the job at the Ripley Royal Bank yesterday. (Tuesday). She has had, a two week vacation. Passed away Hugh Wesley MacPherson died last Friday, October 23, in the County of Bruce Hospital; in Waterton. ° Wes MacPherson was in his 81st vear. The funeral service was held Sunday.afternoon at the MacKenzie McCreath Funeral - Home in Lucknow followed by interment in SouthKinloss cemetery. BAYER BUYS He is survived by a brother Gordon : MacPherson. The MacPherson brothers lived on the 8th Concessioneast about half way between Ripley and Holyrood. The farm is the one where Kathy and Boyd Carruthers live. The MacPhersonbrothers were well known and liked in the Ripley •Holyrood area and sympathy is extended at this time of bereavement.
