The teachers from Luck-
now and District Christian
School will be joining 600
Christian educators from all
areas = of Ontarioattending
the annual Ontario Christiafl
School Teachers Association
(QCSTA) convention in Ham-
ilton, October 22 and 23.
With the theme, "Wait...
Be Renewed", the conven-
tion serves as a challenge for
the teachers to teach every
subject from a distinctively
Christian ` framework. The
teachers will have 64 work-
shops from which to choose.
Conferees will also benefit
from, a large book display and
a banquet where the Divinity
Players of McMaster Univer-
sity will, perform.
The Ontario 'Christian
School Teachers Association,
which organizes the conven-
tion, has experienced .sub-
stantial,
ub-
stantial ,�growth in the 27
years since its birth. Prom a
membership of 25 in 1954 it
has increased to ' approxi-
mately 500 members.
The OCSTA members
serve as teacher in over 65
schools belonging to the Ont- .1
aria Alliance of Christian
Schools. The alliance is the
largest single . group of
schools in Ontario outside
the public and separate
schools.
