Leonard Cook of Lucknow.,
died .at Pinecrest Manor,
Lucknow on Sunday, Sept-
ember 27, 1981, at the age of
95.
A farmer in East Wawa -
nosh for 35 years, he retired
to Blyth in 1948. He and his
wife, Ethel have resided in
Lucknow since 1971. He was

He is survived by his
daughters, ;Mrs. Gladys
Johnston, Mrs. Mabel Riley,
both of. Blyth; sons, Mansel
Cook, Harold Cook and Rus-
sel Cook, all of Blyth; .a'
daughter-in-law, Mrs. Velma
Cook , of Mitchell; several
grandchildren and great
grandchildren and nine great.

A sister, Mrs. Ivy Cook of
Belgrave • also survives as
well as his step -family, Mrs.
Edith Wardlaw of Brantford;
Mrs. Gertrude Hynes of
Winghatn; .Mrs. Mary. Prue

Mr. Cook was predeceased
by a son, Orval in 1966, four
brothers, Alfred, Frederick,
Harry and Telford and three
sisters, Stella, Edna and Vio-
let. ,
The funeral service was
held from the Tasker Funeral
Horne, Blyth on Wednesday,
September 30, 1981 at 2 p.m.
conducted by Rev. ` Cecil
Wittick of Blyth United
Church.
Flower • bearers were
grandchildren, Sandra Ruth-
erford, .Debbie and Scot Prue
and Paul Finlay.
Pallbearers . were , six
grandsons, Don Johnston;
Murray Cook, David Cook,
Ivan Cook, Glen Riley and
Ken Cook;
Burial followed in Blyth
Union Cemetery.
