fest there, on Saturday.

pital last week.
Baptism and. communion
services were held at Trinity
Church on Sunday. Lee Jer-
emy, son of Gail and Ivan
Cranston, and Adam Thom-
as, son of Nancy and Jack
Cameron were baptized.
Both had ;'family Members
attending and a get together;
at their homes after the
service.
Beryl and .Bill Hunter of
Lucknow, formerly of Ash-
field, enjoyed a three day bus
trip last week by Leisure
Tours to Agawa Canyon,
north of Sault. Ste. Marie.

Alton, who is in St. Joseph's
Hospital : in London.
Allan and Violet Ritchie,
Harvey and Betty. Ritchie and
Doug Hackett visited Milvert
and Gladys Reid in Goderich
Saturday evening and pres-
ented them with a ' farewell
gift from his former Zion
neighbours. Milvert sold his
house to Paul Puddy- and
wife, Brisette and, two sons,
Cedric and Michael of New
Brunswick. Cedric started
Kindergarten at Brookside
School in September.
Pat Broome, son of Tom
and Rose Broome, celebrated
his 6th birthday at the home'
of his grandparents, Reg and
Freda Broome recently. Oth-
er visitors at the same home
last week . were ° Jim and
Francis Broome of Wingham.

Edna Ross of Lucknow on
Sunday evening.
Alfred Adamson of Kel-
vington, Saskatchewan spent
last week with Lois and Larry
Campbell. Alfred is a cousin
of Lois.;
Frank Riegling of White-
law, Alberta flew home Wed-
nesday
ednesday evening to attend the
funeral of his .nephew, Paul
Riegling. He also visited his
parents, Carl and Fran Reg -
ling and his wife, Ann's
parents, Frank and Sally Rit-
chie, of Lucknow. We extend
sympathy to Paul's parents,
Max and Helen Riegling and
other relatives.
Myra . Evans of Wales is
visiting this week with Susan
and Alex Irvin as a Welsh
delegate of the Young Farm-
er's Association. Susan visit-
ed her family last spring as a
Junior Farmers' delegate.

and his wife Ann. Rev. Ruch
has been serving as asistant
curate to Canon Ray Farrell
of -St. John the Evangelist
Church in London. Rev.
Ruch has been appointed the
new minister to St. Paul's
Anglican Church in Ripley,:
the Church of. the Ascension.
in Kinlough, and St. Peter's
Anglican Church in
Lucknow.` Rev. and Mrs.
Ruch will reside in the house
just north of the home' of
Mrs. Mildred Wylds on the
main street south in Ripley.
Rev. and Mrs. George Gar-
ratt own their home : in
Lucknow and will continue to
live there now that he has
retired from the active
