Mrs. Elliott discussed
parts of an egg, the grading
of eggs, principles of work-
ing with eggs, the function of
eggs in recipes and how to
use cracked eggs.
Mrs. Purdon- demonstrat-
ed how to recognize fresh
and stale eggs. The girl3
made chicken soup using
chicken stock. Celia Chand-
ler demonstrated a recipe,
Eggonomical Quiche and the
soup and quiche were tasted
by all the members.

ing. Match was held near
Barrie last week and had a
lower attendance than usual,
no doubt due to the rain
which fell almost every day.
Quite a few from this district
attended the match• ,
Marty and Karen Young
• attended the plowing match
on Tuesday.
• Mr. and Mrs. Russell
Young visited her parents,
Mr, and Mrs. Art Ferguson
of Newmarket Tuesday even-
ing and spent Wednesday at
the plowing match, returning
home on Thursday,

and Mrs. Bob Bregman for

drove her home and attended

ed, A few contests were held
after which Wendy opened
the many lovely presents for
the expected baby. Wendy

her sisters for having the

come see her in the hospital,
A delicious lunch was then
served and a social time

Ian Iliontas is still a
patient in Wingham Hospital
but his knee is improving and
he is sometimes allowed to
go home between• treat-
