28, the firstmeeting of the
new board of executive of the
Bruce County Multiple Scler-
osis Society was. held ` at
Audrey Turnbull's home.

board of executive are as

The minutes of the last
meeting, which was held in
July read by Marion

Business promptly got un-
der way and a motion was
passed that Marion Gerry be
allowed to purchase patient
aids at her own discretion
without having to wait for
each board meeting. Also,
another motion passed, was
that all patient aids being
purchased be screened- by
Marion Gerry at her own 'dis-
cretion.
The general . meeting of
M.S. will be held every third
Monday of the month, "rotat-
ing between' Walkerton, Kin-
cardine and Underwood.The
board of executives will meet
half-hour before each of the
general meetings.
A..motion . was also passed
to send Bruce County news'
letters to the board of execu-
tives of Grey and Huron
Counties. It ip hoped that this
will open up1 communication
lines and that theaid for
M.S. patients will improve in
the 'surrounding areas.
A motion to inform the
funeral parlours in Bruce
County of the new treasurer
and her address, wag also
passed. Donations then could
be sent to her and the money
could then be promptly de-
posited in the Bruce County
account.
This month there will be
no news letter sent out. Due
to the new menibelrs on 'the
board, all names and addres-
ses of our members have not
been -received,

began its hearings in Chat-
ham last night.
Hundreds of Ontario farm-
ers with their .backs to the
wall are going to tell the
human side of high interest
rates to a task force this
week.
