Township and Robert John .Boswell of Lon- don, Ontario, son of .Mrs. Elsie Roswell and the late Mr. Clarence Roswell of Simcoe. Officiating at the .Luelmow Sentinel, 'Wednesday., September 30, 1981:Page 5 Married in August wedding double ring ceremony were Rev. Arthur Scott of Lucknow and Rev. Donald Stroh of Stratford, brother- in-law of the bride: The church was tastefully decorated with floral arrangements of ivory gladioli, spider mums and baby's breath, flanked by two .beautiful antique brass candelabra with matching ivory candles, Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in an English style, floor length gown of ivory polyester crepe. A pleated English ruffle edged the short jacket and long. sleeves. She wore a mat- ching floral spray in herhair and • carried a • cascade bouquet of white orchids and talisman roses. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Louise Stroh of Stratford as ,matron of° honou She wore a' floor length gown of mint green polyester crepe with a draped neckline and a matching rose in . her hair. She carried a dainty nosegay of white • roses ` and mint gardenias with baby's breath. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Darlene Hudson of Thornda le, ' sister of the groom and Miss Judy. Sheppard of Cambridge, friend. of the bride. They woreidentically styled gowns in pastel Orchid and blue 'respectively with matching 'flowers in their hair and nosegays. Miss Shauna Andrew was junior bridesmaid ' and Miss Elizabeth Stroh:"was flower girl. They were dressed:alilte 'in pale green, floor length dresses trimmed with ivory lace and coral ribbon." They wore flower bands in their hair and carried baskets of whiteand talisman rosesand baby's breath. The. groomsman Mr. Ron Rowsweli of Simcoe, brother of the groom; the ushers, Mr. Greg Kotanko,, friend of the groom from Simcoe'; Mr. John Andrew, brother of the, bride; Ca.ndlebearer, Master Robert ' Stroh and Ringbearer Master Warren Andrew were attired in. candlelight! , tuxedos with brown trim and boutonnieres of talisman. roses. Mrs. Ruth. Alton of ,Ash- field was organist. The Zepher Wind Instrumental Quintet of the University of • Western Ontario Faculty of Music in London played the. Processional, St. Anthony Chorale by Haydn and the Recessional, .Trumpet Tune by Purcell: The soloist, Miss Susan Whitehead of Landon, sang, The Wedding Prayer accompanied by Miss Sheila Read of London. Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Scott con- tributed three beautiful. • duets, Dedication, 0 God from Whom man derives its. name, and Thou wilt keep Him in Perfect. Peace:. Following the ceremony the guests spent a social hour in the gardens at the Andrew home before attending the reception at Brookside Public School .where the Trinity U.C.W. catered to a delicious banquet. Mr. Stephen Andrew, brother of the bride was a capable Masterof Ceremonies for the evening. The bride's mother received the guests wearing a long gown of figured pale aqua polyester and a yellow rose corsage: The groom's mother chose a deeper shade of aqua green and also wore a yellow rose corsage. The ,music for the reception was provided by the Whitehead family of London, very dear friends of the bride. ' Following a holiday in Northern Ontario,. Bob and Mary took Up residence at 1175 Addison . Drive in London, Ontario. Bob is , employed with the A and P Stores at ..the Adelaide Centre. 'Mary is an instructor of Instrumental Music and, ballroom dancing for the. London Board, of Education, Fanshawe College and University of Western Ontario. They study ballroom dancing in Hamilton and, have their first dancingengagementwith the London, S yrnphony or- chestra this fall. Prior to the wedding, Miss Olive Webster : and Misses Bea and -Margot Parker held a delightful noon luncheon and shower for Mary at their apartment in. Burlington.- A community showerwas held in Trinity United Church. Several friends in :London entertained at social gatherings in her honour. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Andrew hosted the rehearsal party in their home the night before the wedding. 1 ouple wed in garden ceremony A beautiful summer wed- ding was solemnized in the treed gard9n at the home of the bride's parents on Satur- day, August 22, 1981 at 4 p.m. when Patricia Anderson and Douglas Dolbear were united in. marriage. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Anderson, R. R. 7, Lucknow and the groom is, the son of. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dol - bear, R. R. 1 Denfield. The Rev. C. L. Wittich, Blyth, performed the double ring ceremony. Vows were exchanged)) in front of a trel- lised arbour laden with cedar boughs and colourful floral bouquets, artistically arrang; ed by" Mrs. Joyce Caesar, aunt of the bride. The bride, given in mar- nage by her parents, chose a full-length ivory gown with a diagonally tiered skirt ac- cented with a sheer cape. A roll -brim hat completed her ensemble. She carried . a bouquet of red roses, blue cornflowers and , cream myms. Lynne Mann, Lucknow, and Mary Anderson, Lon- don, sisters of the bride, were her attendants. Their street length corn. .flower blue dresses featured ruffled jabots. They carried. nose- gays . of flowers similar to those of the bride. Best man ,was, Stephen Mann, Lucknow, "brother -in- law of the bride, and guests were ushered by Wayne '.Adkinson, St. Thomas, friend of the groom. Following the wedding an outdoor buffet supper was served. The mother of the bride received guests wear- ing • a pink, street -length, two-piece outfit, featuring a sheer flowered coat and crepe georgette gown.: Her corsage was an orchid. She was assisted by the mother of the groom, who wore a printed, light green, street - length gown with orchid cor- sage, John Anderson, Goderich, brother of the bride was music co-ordinator and Jim Anderson, Caledonia, also brother of the bride, acted as master of''ceremonies. The couple travelled through the Eastern United States on their honeymoon and, on their return, will reside in Lucas, Ontario. Dolbear - Anderson Elementary children win prizes at fall fair....
