Ian Hackett, son of Chest- er' and Bell Hackett, has commenced hissecond year at Fanshawe College in a Construction Course, . Ian worked for the summer at Huron Landscaping. We would like to welcome ,Steve and Vicky Piluke, and Nick' three little sons, Jamie, Trinity �orttnIunity Christopher, and David from Mississauga. They are living at the 'farm. of " Vicky's parents, Manfred and Joan:. Dierolf. Mr. and Mrs. Dierolf and son, George, who live at Blind,River now, visited here for the, long weekend. George Dierolf, who attends. high school at Blind River, spent three weeks this Aug- ust with his grandparents in Germany. Janet Wilkins, daughter of Charlie and Mayme Wilkins, returned to ' Lambton . Col- lege, Sarnia,for her second year in Early Childhood Ed- ucation. Janet was employed at Five Oaks Christian Train- ing Centre at Paris for the summer. Junior Farmer history books are for sale and may be w obtained from any Junior Farmer member. Arrangements for the club's float in the Lucknow, Fall Fair parade were made, The club will assist the Lucknow Agricultural Society at the fair by -selling tickets, and conducting the tug of war and wheelbarrow: races. The formation .of a square dancing group . was discus- sed. The club . is catering` to the banquet and dancefor the Wales delegates which is being held in Seaford", Oct- ober 8. Kay Morrison' will be at- .. tending the Social .Recreation Workshop on September 26 at Shelburne. The annual banquet and dance will be held November 28 at Brookside School. .Com- mittees were organized for food, serving lunch. and Waikforlife, planned for this Saturday "Make Life a Family Af- fair" is the 1981 theme for the National: Walk for Life Day scheduled for Septem- ber 26. . Pro-life groups across the nation • are organizing the walk in their local cammun- ides. Locally, Voice. for Life, the pro-life group in Wing - ham and Area, *till walk kilometres from Herman de Bruyn's.farm (on highway 86 - VA mites east. of White- church) to Sacred Heart Church in Winghaut from 9.30 a.m. until 12 noon. A lunch will be served to all walkers.
