Lucknow CGIT has held
two Monday meetings in the
United Church. •This week
girlsand leaders enjoyed a
hot dog supper, camp songs,
games, bag skits and a sen-
sitivity worship.
The group welcomed new
leaders Lynne McDougall
and Peggy Gibson and four
new members, Brenda Gib-
son, Bonnie Henderson, .Ju-
lie Nicholson and Kim Laid-

The third meeting of the
.Chose!' Chicks took place at
the home of Mrs. Ruth Alton.
on ,Tuesday, September 15.
The home activities were
taken up and then as a
meeting demonstration some
members made an Eggonomn-
' ical Quirke. •
Theleaders spoke on eggs
and their basics. Theyalso
showed how 'to pick out a.
stale egg from a fresh egg.
In group work the girls
labelled the parts of an egg
and the leaders talked about
the grading and weighing of
an egg. They discussed what
eggs do in .different "recipes,
followed by a ,quiz,

Mrs. Bill Burt went to
Toronto to be with her son,
George and family 'as Mrs.
George Burt had to undergo:
surgery.
Sympathy is extended to
Mrs. John Ross old family,

on Monday afternoon.

fellowship; the other group
on Time Line, highlighting
the missionary, work in Nep-
al. The conveners had a
question and answer' period
on Nepal. The president
extended the courtesies.
Lunch was served by the
hostess -and a timeof fellow-
ship enjoyed.

to know Mr. Joseph;Guest of
Brucelea Haven was able to

Quite a number enjoyed
the Fill; Fair at Lucknow on
Saturday. Nice to see some of
our girls having entries and
taking part. The school band,
is always a pleasure to see
and hear.

weekend with her brother
and his wife and family, and
with Mr. and Mrs. Eldon
