Mrs. Jim West gave the scripture and an inspiring devotion followed by prayer. Roll call, an interesting item from the record, was answered by '12 members. four visitors and one child. Highlights from Glad Tidings were given by Mrs. Warren VVylds. Mrs. MacKenzie. introduc- ed Ruth Thompson of Luck - now, who showed slides from different trips she had taken. The slides were of plants and all enjoyed them very much. Mrs. Neil MacKenzie thank- ed Miss Thompson and pres- ented her with a token of appreciation. The roll call was answered and president, Tracey Rising and vice president, Nancy Carmichael, were elected. The members are Nancy Car- michael, Janice Dougherty, IL's* Dougherty, Deb Greg- ory, Donna Gregory, Lori Hill, Tracy Hill, Rhonda McMichael, Margaret Mc- Whinney, Laurie Pentland, Tracey Rising, Andrea Smith and Cathy Snyder. The members went to the kitchen and learned how to cut up a chicken properly. The meeting • proceeded While some of the members worked in the kitchen and prepared two recipes. These Were Niagara Nice 'N Spicy Chicken and Chicken with a Chinese Accent. The members tasted the food which had successful (and tasty!) results.
