Married in August
A pretty summer wedding
took place at the Christian
Reformed Church, Lucknow,
amidst settings. of pink and
lavender, on Friday evening,
August 7, 198i at 5.30 p.m.
The groom, Byron Wend-
ell Reynolds, son of• Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Reynolds of Tren-
ton, Michigan, and the bride,
Susan Ann Kreutzweiser,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John Kreutzweiser of Luck -
now, Ontario, pledged their
marriage vows to each other,
• and before God, committing
• their future life to Him.
Rev. Clair Sams, pastor of
the Bible Missionary Church,
Goderich, officiated at the
ceremony. Mr. Elmer Um-
• baeh ofLucknow, a long time
friend of •the bride and'
family, provided special or-
gan music before, and during.
• the ceremony.
The guests were ushered
by Chuck Reynolds, Grand
Rapids, Michigan, brother of
the groom, and Donald
Krelitzweiser, Lucknow,
brother of the bride. Dave
,Kreutzweiser, brother of the
• bride, of Sault Ste. Marie,
Ontario, sang and accompan
ied_himself on the guitar.
Matron of honour was
Jo -Ann Kreutzweiser of Pick-
ering, •Ontario, sister-in-law er•
of the bride. The brides-
maids were friends of the
.bride, Sharon Lauson of.
Greeley, Colorado, and -
Becky Phillips of Detroit,:
Michigan.
Best man was Bob Philips
of Three Rivers, 'Michigan,
friend of the groom, and the
groomsmen were Dave Phil
lips of Detroit, Michigan,
friend of the groom, and
TimReynolds, Trinton,
Michigan, brother of the.
groom.
Erin Kreutzweiser of Pick-
ering, Ontario, niece of the
bride, was flower girl and
Benny IPhiliips of Three Riv-
ers, Michigan, was the junior
groomsman.
A wedding dinner was
held at the Lucknow Legion
Hall, following the cere-.
mony.
The young couple travelled
to points in Northern. Ontario
and Niagara Falls for their
honeymoon. At the present,
they are making their home
in Wayne, Michigan.

Kingsbridge CWL make plan
for 60th anniversary in October
The monthly meeting of
• St. Joseph's C.W.L. was
held on Monday evening,
• September 7 in the Parish
Hall with Mrs. Clarice Dalton
presiding.
After opening Prayers,
• minutes of the last meeting
were read by Mrs. Delores
Van Osch and approved as
correct.
In correspondence read by
Mrs. Betty Frayne, a notice
from the London Diocesan
Council was read acknowled-
ging that the Kingsbridge
resolution on Absentee For-
eign Ownership submitted at
the convention in May was
passed recently at the Prov-
• incial level. A letter from the
Anniversary Committee of
the London Diocese was
read, requesting that two
delegates be sent to attend
the Parish Life Conference to
be held at the end of
• September in Windsor.
After the financialreport
given by Mrs. Betty Doherty,
anew stove for the kitchen
was discussed briefly.
Being the year of the 60th
anniversary of the League, a
special meeting was planned
for Wednesday, October 21,

The Teacher's Special Ed-
ucation course will begin
again this month at the
school. The League and the
Tennis Club will jointly look
after serving refreshments to
the teachers.

day, October 6 at St. Jos-
eph's with Elaine Townsend
as guest speaker. The Strat-
ford Deanery is to be held
• October 7 at St, Boniface,
Zurich.
Father Dentinger remind-
ed everyone of the High
School Religious discussion
groups beginning on Sunday
nigh. Volunteers are needed
