of R. R. 1., Clifford chose
her mother's wedding dress
for the special .day she
became the bride of William
Morley Bushell of Winghant.
The ceremony was perform-
ed by Rev. Arnold Proud of
Teeswater in McIntosh Un-
ited Church on Saturday,
July 18, 1981 at seven
o'clock. Wicker baskets -con-
taining ivory baby mums and
pink cowslips decorated the
altar and lighted pink tapers
flickered in candelabra.
Throughout the ceremony,
special music was provided
by the . bride's . aunt, Mrs.

Winona Thompson. Bruce
and Barb Bushell sang "To-
day" before the ceremony
began and "Let It Be Me"
during the signing of the
register. Bruce is a cousin of
the groom and his wife is a
cousin of the bride.
Valerie is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John L Wright
of R. R. 1, Clifford. The.
groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Mot'iey Bushell, Wing -
ham. Mtn. Wright gave his
daughter in marriage.
For the' bride's •mother,
many happy memories were
associated with the bridal
gown, :an all -silk lace -over -

length veil edged with lace
and she carried a silk nose-

orchids, baby blue mums and
baby's breath.. °
Miss Lea Anne Wright of
R. R. 1, Clifford was her
sister's honour attendant and
bridesmaids were two close
friends of the bride, Jacquie
Workman and .Marlene' Pen-
nington, both of Brussels,
and Mrs. Lori Bushell of New
Hamburg, sister-in-law of
the :groom. They were gown–
ed alikeinpale pink poly-
ester. The dresses were fash-
ioned with spaghetti straps,
covered by .sheer long-sleev-
ed blouses trimmed with lace
and styled . with frilly :high
collars.. The maid of honour
carried a silk nosegay of pale
pink roses, darker pink orrh-
ids and baby blue mums
interspersed with baby's
breath. The other attend-
ants' nosegays were pale
pink. roses, powder blue
orchids, baby blue mums and
baby's breath.
Erica . Wright of R. R. 1,
Clifford, a cousin ofthe
bri e, ' was .the flower girl.
Sh ore a white :floor -length
dre of dotted swiss with
long sheer sleeves, Peter Pan
collar, a hemline flounce and
a pale pink wasitline sash.
She carried a wickerbasket
containing the same flowers.
as those carried by the 'inaid
of honour.

The Crippled Duck provid-
ed music for the reception
which was, held at Belmore
Community Centre, Sid
Thompson, uncle of the
bride, was master of cere-
monies., Out-of-town guests.
from ' Simcoe, Newmarket,
Kitchener, : London, Ridge-
town, Orillia, New Hamburg,
Toronto and Edmonton, Al-
berta, were greeted by ' the
mothers of the bridal couple.
The bride's mother wore a
floor -length sleeveless gown.
of pale . mauve polyester with
a silk corsage of pale mauve
and deep mauve roses and
baby's breath. The groom's
mother, chose a floor -length,
sieevelss gown of aqua blue
polyester with: matching
short . lace -trimmed jacket.
Her corsage was silk roses in
a shade of deeper blue
interspersed with . baby's
breath.
For travelling to Northern
Ontario, the bride wore a
pink and blue floral skirt,
white ' blouse with elbow -
length sleeves and corsage of
pale pink roses and powder
blue mus. They will reside
at R. R. 1, Wroxeter.
