Donald Anrew Ritchie, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Ritchie of RR 5 Lucknow on
Saturday, July 25.
The double ring ceremony
was held at Lucknow United
Church at 3 p.m. with
Reverend Warren
McDougall officiating and .
Mr. Art Scott assisting. Karl
Morrison was : the, organist
with Alex Irwin and. Susan
Irwin singing.
The bride was given in
marriage by: her father. She
wore a white chiffon gown
with a U-shaped neckline
and train. She wore a
Juliette cap 'trimmed with
lace. It held °a two tier silk il-
lusion fingertip veil. • ,
She carried a silk bouquet
of red roses and whiteball
monis
The maid of honour was
Nora Van Dyke of RR 7
Lucknow, a close friend of
the bride. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Reina Arnold of RR 2
Kincardine, sister of the
bride, Mary Ann Ritchie of
RR 5. Lucknoiw,• sister of the
groom and Mrs. Irene West
of Stratford, cousin of the
bride.
All wore long blue gowns
with capes and ' carried
yellow roses and white ball
mums. They also wore
yellow roses in their hair.
Flowergirl was Carla Ar-
nold, niece of the bride.. She
wore a snow white floor
length dress with ` a lace
apron on top and. carried a
basket of yellow roses and
white ball mums.
Groomsman was George
McBride of Lucknow, friend
of the groom.
Ushers were David Atkin-
son of Lucknow,. Doug de
Boer of Wroxeter and Matt
Palmer of Wingham, all
friends of the groom.
Ringbearer was . Henry
McGibbon of Guelph, cousin
of the bride:
• The dinner and dance
following the ceremony was
held at Lucknow and District
Community Centre.
Emcee was Ken Quipp,
friend of the groom.
Following a wedding trip
around Ontario and to
Georgian Bay, Mr. and. Mrs.
Don Ritchie took up:
residence at RR .4 Glencoe,
'where the groom is
employed , at Macksvilla
Farms. -
Prior to her wedding, the
bride was feted at a com-
munity shower, a relatives'
shower and a girlfriends'
shower.

of the Presbyterian Church in
Palmerston was the officiat-
ing clergyman. The .organist
was Mrs. Betty. Simpson of
Gowanstown and soloists

of Hanover sang, When You
Created Love, 'Wedding
Prayer, and The Gift of Love.
For her wedding the bride
wore a formal gown of ,silk
chiffon with: a double ruffle
around the neckline, and a
fitted empire' bodice. ,The
gently flowing "A" line skirt
flowed into a chapel train
with a double ruffle matching
the neckline. The gown was
enhanced with re -embroider-
ed guipure lace appliques.

and fingertip veil. She car-
ried a red rose bouquet with
white stephanotis and baby's
breath, fashioned with white
lace streamers.
The maid of honour was •
Miss Kae Kalbfleisch of
Listowel. She wore a mint -
green polyester jersey gown
with fitted bodice and spag-
hetti straps covered by a -
short double cape of nylon
sheer featuring a mandarin
collar fastened at the neck
with ties. She Carried a pink
rose bouquet W th white
stephanotis and white lace
streamers. Bridesmaids were
Miss Laura Klabfleisch of R.
R. 2 Moorefield and Miss
Barbara Loree and Miss
Shirley Loree, both of Luck -
now. Their gowns and flow-
ers matched . those of the
maid of honour.
The best man was Robert
Loree of Listowel, and ushers
were Stanley Loree of Luck-
now, John Bridge of Listowel
and Brad Kalbfleisch of R. R.

ario. Their future residence

with white 'accessories. Her
corsage was of pink and
white roses.

from St. Catherines, Water-
loo, Chesley, Unionville,
Lucknow, Teeswater, Sear -
borough, Hanover, Port El-
gin, Stratford, Minnesing,
Ayton, Atwood, Ayr, Harri-
ston and Listowel.

lic Church in Kingsbridge
was decorated in mum and
sweet pea arrangements on
July 11, 1981 forthe marri-
age of Lawrence Joseph Hog-
an and :Marianne Elizabeth
Frayne.
The .groorn is the son of
Mr and Mrs. John Howard
of Ashfield Township and the
bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs, Eugene. Frayne. of
Kingsbridge.
The Rev. Ed Dentinger
officiated the doublering
ceremony, and the bride was
given in marriage, by her
father.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a floor length white
dress and headpiece of flow-
ers and ribbons. She carried
a prayer book, her grandfath-
er's rosary, white streamers,
miniature white roses and
white stephanotis,
The maid of honour was
Lisa Frayne, a sister of the
bride, of Kingsbridge, who
wore a street length, floral

A reception for the new
couple was held at the Luck -
now Community Centre with
Kathleen Hogan, sister of
the groom, acting as Mist-
ress of Ceremonies;

The bride's travelling cost-
ume was a rose georgette

The couple enjoyed a wed-
ding. trip to Quebec City
before taking up residence
on .the ninth concession of
Ashfield Township.
Prior to her wedding, the
bride was feted at three
showers. A relatives shower
was given by Aunt Peggy
O'Grady of Listowel; a girl-
friends shower was put on by
Leona and Anita Hogan; and
a community shower was
held at the Kingsbridge 1 call,
