David MacDon- ald, Finiay MacLennan, Mac Webster and Rod "MaeLen- nan favoured the gathering with their piping and drum- mingduring the afternoon. • Te children enjoyed Bain- es and raceswhich were conducted by Mr. and Mrs. Art La Grande of Teeswater. —Following the singing of Grace, led by .Mrs. Jesse Johnstone :of . Lucknow, a bountiful pot luck supper was • served. The president, Mrs. Bob Burkhsug of Chicago, welcomed everyone to the picnic and extended thanks . • tothose Who organized the day's events. Mr. D. A. MacLennan was rememberedby the clan, who for many years 'provided bagpipe music at the reun- ion. A minute's silence was observed forthose who had passed on during the • pre- vious year, and they were Bruce MacDonald,Mrs. Iso- bel Havens and Mrs. Donald MacKenzie. Eight new, members were welcomed to the clan, and the youngest present was Sarah . Kay, • daughter of . Mr.. and Mrs. Gary Kay of .Milford •Bay. Five marriages occurred in the clan this past year and .Mr, and .Mrs, Ron Cowie of London, were the most rec- ent newlyi,•, ds attending the picnic, The most senior lady and gentleman present were• Mrs. Sadie Blue of Detroit twilled MacDonald of Rip-. ley, , • After a short business meeting it .was decided that the same executive retain their offices for another year. Violin music was provided by Mr, Bert MacDonald with Mabelle MacDonald and Lil- liian Simpson at the piano. - Before the singing of Auld Lang Syne, a group picture was taken by Tony Estevis of London.
