The bride is the .daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Teixeira (nee Irlma Hodgins). Congratulations are extended to the• newly- weds. •Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rhody and family visited on Thursday evening with. Mr. and Mrs. John Scott •of Ripley. • We are sorry to report that Mr. Chris Shelton of Luck - now and formerly of here underwent major surgery at University Hospital, London. We extend get well, wishes. Visiting with their grand- mother, Mrs. Marretta Hod- gins were Pam, Shelley and Julie Hodgins.of Niagara and Darryl and Keith Hodgins of St. Catharines. Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Stewarr. Lane in the death of her father, the late Patrick MacMillan. The fun- eral was at St. Mary's Church, Lucknow on TItes- day morning. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Tay - ICY and family moved from our area to the Fair house on highway 9 east of Bervie. Visiting with Lindell and Michelle Cross for a holiday is Danielle , Shortreed of Toronto. • ft WAS so nice to have Mrs. Vera. Dennis and Dorothy Schultz of Dungannon looked after the games for the young and old. A lot of fun was had with water -filled balloons and 3 legged races. George McLean of Ripley had a peanut scramble. A variety program which was MC'd by.
