Dies in car accident

Wednesday evening there
was a tragic accident on
-e} Highway 06 near Dave Elph-
:, ick's feed barn. It was a
headon collision and one
5' woman was killed in •the
accident and four injured
seriously.
On Sunday Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Wilkins had the
family, Mrs. Frances Wilk-
ins, Herb and Marie .Wilkins,
Laurine, Janet and Laura,
Bill Wilkins, Joanne, Ian and
Stacey Hakkers, Jack Wilk-
ins and Sharon Alton, and
• Elizabeth and Kenny Wilkins
to help celebrate Janet Wilk-
ins' 19th birthday. Happy
• Birthday, Janet.
Visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
George Moncrief for 'a few
days were Joe and Betty
Villet of Naperville, Illinois.
Mrs. Dorothy MacLennan
had her son, Finlay MacLen
nan and a friend from Kit-
chener for the weekend.
Teena Morton, daughter of
Mrs. Margaret Morton, leav-
es on Friday for two weeks'
holidays in Calgary, Alberta.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Rieg-
ling and family, with Max's
father, Carl Riegling attend-
ed the Riegling reunion, on
Sunday at the home .of John
Riegling of Chatham.
A very small fawn, approx-
imately 15 inches tall, was
sighted by the Websters
Tuesday evening in •their
barley. The fawn was all
alone: It seemed to •have
wandered from its mother.
The police were notified and
they in turn said they would
get in touch with the Minist-
ry of Natural Resourees to be
on the look out for it.
On Sunday Mr. and Mrs-..
Gordon Robb visited their
• daughter and tin -law,
Mr. and Mrs. Edw n McCut-
cheon of Lions Had. They
brought back •their two
grandchildren, Metideth and
Darryi for holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Wilkins took their daughter,
Janet. Wilkins, back to Paris
t the first of the week. She will
be employed at Five Oaks for
the rest of the summer when
she will return home to
attend school in September.

Gallery and the Nashaquac
Fish Hatchery. They also
visited Jean's brother, Willis
Bell and family at Orotnocto,
who is with the armed forces
at Gagetown, N.B. They
travelled through Nova Scot-
ia visiting the Alexander
Graham Bell Museum at
Baddeek arid caught the ferry
o'er to P.E.I. The crops look
great and it rained all the
•time while on the island.
They returned home by
Quebec and reported a great
trip,
