Rev. and Mrs. John Bell left on Sunday after church for their .son, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fontaine's, Streetsville, Where they will visit until Wednesday when they go by plane to Edmonton to attend their daughter's wedding. They will enjoy a month's holiday, returning the end of July. On. Saturday evening a baseball game was held on the Whitechurch diamond between the Oldthners and team of today with Angus Falconer umpiring. A large crowd had gathered but rain caused the game to halt when the score was 10 - 0 in favour of the oldtimers. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Craig. invited them to come to their home where around 60 gathered.
