Kingsbridge Beavers me t
for the last time this year
Saturday, June 6 at a Beav
eree in,; Durham, With their
leaders and volunteer, par-
ent, Tony ' Miltenburg, they
enjoyed a full ° day of ,activ-
ities.
There were approximately
100 Beavers from Walkerton,
Hanover, Winghain,. Kinear-
dine, Ripley and Kings-
bridge. The boys divided into
six different sections and had
the opportunity to play gam-
es,, sing songs, go on a
nature hike, do, exercises, go
on a rope maize, and
listen to stories.
The Mount Forest Detach-
ment of the O.P.P. demon-
tten
strated how to train a police
dog. An obstacle course fol-
lowed, giving:: the boys .an
appetite for barbecued hot
dogs. A campfire with : a
sing -a -long ended . the day.

burg for driving and assiting
with supper for the hungry
Beavers.
May was also a busy time
thanks to parental : involve-
ment. Margaret Campbell
instructed the boys on how
to make a yardstick holder
for Mother's Day. Margaret
Campbell and Barb Eedy
held a meeting in the ab-
scence of the leaders. The
boys were given a hospital
colouring book at this meet-
ing to prepare them for a

taken to the . Kintail Camp.

House, where he was hon-
oured as the second oldest
graduate returning from the
year 1911. Mr. McKim was

lege of Pharmacists building.
He was honoured at the
Pharmacy Alumni Associa-
