Wi.bsters h�id 59th reunion The annual Webster picnic was held at Brucefield Cen- tennial School on Sunday, June 14 when about 84 registered,• As it was very humid and sultry, the gather- ing was held indoors. Mrs. Jessie Kirkland and Mrs. Olive Blake supervised registration. Sports' conven- er, Hugh Lobb, conducted contests and relay races. Winners included Nancy Lobb, preschool. .children throw the paper plate and Greg Lobb, 6 -10 years throw the paper plate. Everyone enjoyed the pipe band music by three pipers led by drummer Watson Webster, President Mervyn Lobb welcomed everyone and en- couraged the younger gener- ation 'to continue the 'family reunion as next year will be the 60th .family 'reunion. A musical by Doris McKinley on marimba accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Gerald Moffat was enjoyed. A minute's silence was observed in memory of those family members who passed away during the past year including Irene Turner, Ada (Helm) Woods; Mrs. Elliner Webster; Elgin McKinley; William Hackett; Albert Gammie; Lorraine Dwyer; Earle Webster and Jack Rit- chie, A duet by Mr, and Mrs. Mervyn Lobby was enjoyed.
