Large attendance at Whitechurch anniversary

Anniversary services were
held at Whitechurch United
Church on Sunday, June 14
.with morning service at 11
a.m. and evening service at 8
p.m. A large congregation
attended both services.
Guest minister was Rev,
Robert Scott of kondes,boro.
Organist, Agnes Farrier, pia-
nists, Janet . Laidlaw and
Hugh Sinnamon and violin-
ist, Jack W'hytock, provided
music throughout the morn-
ing service.
The message in music by
the .choir was, Jesus, I Love
You and, Yesterday, Today
and Tomorrow. ,
Themessage by Rev: Scott
was entitled, Looking tc) the
Future.
At the evening service the
prelude was presented by
Richard o Moore ,on violin;
Nancy Quipp on eukele;
Hugh Sinnamon on mandolin
and Jack Whytock on violin.
Rev. Scott sang solos
accompanied by taped musi-
cal background. The service
was in the form of.a medita-
tion.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Coultes
visited on Sunday with Mrs.
Agnes Farrier.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl John-
ston, Bluevale wefe callers
on Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon
on Sunday evening.
,Quite a few from . the
village attended the party for
Murray Gaunt at Teeswater
on Thursday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon 'Mc-
Burney of East Wawanosh
were Sunday evening callers
on Mr. and Mrs. Victor
Emerson.
Mr. and Mrs. Peacock of
Bluevale visited Sunday with
Dawson Craig and attended
anniversary services at the
United Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Rin-
toul were Saturday callers on
his sister, Mrs. Luella . Mc-
Pherson, at the home of her
daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Douglas Snell of . Londesb-
boro.

who quietly celebrated their
wedding anniversary on Sat-
urday,
Miss Lynn Falconer and

weekend with her grand-

ing aaf Ryan Ronald, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Nich-

Nicholson is Irene de Boer.
Varna and Danny Thomp-
son are visiting with Stephen
and Dean Tiffin while their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bevan
Tiffin are in Toronto on
business, where they were
accompanied by his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin of
Winghant, who are visiting
with their daughter, Joyce
Tiffin.

Kitchener with Dr. and Mrs.
Ed Carey.

Don Ross. Mrs. 'Wesley 'Tif-
fin gave the grace.

by 13 giving a verse with the
word, Father.
The offering was received
by Amy Falconer and dedic-
ated by Mrs., Bell.
