e reunion at Brookside
The 1981 Blake Family
picnic was held on Sunday,
June 7, at Brookside School,
with 69 in attendance:
Following 'a delicious> din-
ner, • .the Webster families
conducted . the sports and
races, They had a fun -filled
afternoon for all age groups,
with games, contest, . relays
and 'races. Then the younger
onesall enjoyed a ball game.
Following supper a short
business meeting Was con-
ducted
by the president,
John Johnstone. The election
of officers for 1982 was as.
follows: president, Doug Alt,
chison; vice president, Lloyd
Morrsion; secretary, Joanne.
Pentland;; `sports, the Morri-
son family. The picnic is to
be held at Brookside School,
with date not definite.

The young peoples of
South Kinloss took over the
service on Sunday..: The jun-
ior choir sang and Margaret
Maclntyre and 'Ruth. Bell
sang a duet, There is a Time.
Norma Maclntyre gave the
message.
At Lucknow Presbyterian
Church the Young People
took part in .theiroutdoor
service with Murray Gilchrist
giving the message. Every-
one enjoyed a picnic dinner
and races and games on . the
lawn, ',following .the service.
Even the weather co-operat-
ed.
South Kinloss church are.
celebrating their 125th anni-
versary on. June 14. This is
our special' day and to help us
make it that way is Rev„
William Henderson of Wood-
stock who is no stranger to
this community. It will be .an.
